Do not be afraid to call the Police.

NEVER let a stranger into your home.

Be aware of home improvement scams or unnecessary work by cold call contractors. (Somebody you didn't call)

• NEVER pay with CASH!

• NEVER admit you have CASH in your home.

• NEVER sign a contract without talking about it with somebody you trust.

• NEVER sign a contract from somebody who just "happens to be in the neighborhood."

• Know your neighbors, you or they may be able to help each other.

• Write down any auto / truck's license plate number down that you do not recognize that belongs in your neighborhood.

• Call your children or friends.
