About Us
The experiences we share we are for people who are
living "upstate" in the Hudson Valley of New York State. Many of these
places one can not just jump on a bus, and go some place.
There are some form of bus service, but it is
limited. Cabs are expensive because of the distances needed to travel.
We just wanted to shared our experiences with you.
We are moved to the Hudson Valley 20 years ago with 2 small children, a
mother-inlaw and a grand mother, 4 generations.
We are just a "Baby Boomer" couple, in our 50's
who has a elderly mother, 82, living with us in a "in-law" apartment
attached to our main house.
We have another mother living away in a different
state with our other siblings.
Both our fathers have died, one having a lenghtly
illness and the other died suddenly.
Everything we
talk about on this WebSite is either from experience or hearsay or
pickedup from other websites. Nothing on these pages should be taken as
